Our Story
EcoIBC was born from a simple idea: used IBC tanks are too valuable to throw away. What started as a small operation rescuing discarded containers has grown into a full-service sustainability partner for businesses across the country.

How We Got Here
The Spark
Seeing hundreds of perfectly reusable IBC tanks heading for landfills, our founders decided enough was enough. They began collecting, cleaning, and reselling tanks from a single warehouse in Vernon, CA.
Growing Demand
Word spread quickly. Local businesses discovered that reconditioned IBC totes were just as reliable as new ones — at nearly half the cost. We expanded our warehouse and brought on a dedicated cleaning team.
Full-Service Operations
We launched delivery services, added accessory sales, and implemented a comprehensive grading system for our inventory. Food-grade, industrial, and chemical-grade classifications gave customers confidence in every purchase.
Recycling Program
For tanks that couldn't be reconditioned, we introduced a full recycling program. Steel cages recycled as scrap metal, HDPE plastic processed by certified recyclers — zero waste, guaranteed.
Nationwide Reach
With logistics partners across the country, we expanded from regional service to nationwide operations. Businesses from coast to coast now rely on EcoIBC for their sustainable container needs.
A Circular Economy Leader
Over 12,500 tanks recycled, 625 tons of CO₂ prevented, and counting. We're not just a tank company — we're proving that the circular economy works, one IBC at a time.
What Drives Us
These aren't just values on a wall — they shape every decision we make, from how we grade tanks to how we treat our partners.
Sustainability First
Every action we take is measured against its environmental impact. We choose the path that keeps materials in circulation and out of landfills, even when it's harder. From sourcing to shipping, sustainability isn't an afterthought — it's our core operating principle.
Radical Transparency
We grade every tank honestly, disclose every imperfection, and price fairly. Our customers trust us because we never overpromise and always overdeliver. What you see in our grading report is exactly what you get when the tank arrives at your facility.
Community Impact
We create local jobs, support small businesses with affordable storage solutions, and partner with community organizations for educational outreach on recycling. Our Vernon, CA facility employs team members from the surrounding communities, contributing to the local economy.
Relentless Quality
We refuse to sell a tank we wouldn't use ourselves. Our six-step reconditioning process, pressure testing, and grading system exist because we believe quality shouldn't be compromised to save a few dollars. Every tank that leaves our facility meets or exceeds the standard for its grade.
Continuous Innovation
The IBC industry is evolving, and so are we. We invest in better cleaning technologies, more efficient logistics systems, and smarter ways to track tank lifecycles. Our goal is to push the entire industry toward more sustainable and efficient practices.
Customer Partnership
We don't just sell tanks — we build long-term relationships. Many of our customers have been with us since our first year. We work to understand each client's unique needs, offer volume pricing, provide flexible delivery schedules, and go the extra mile to solve logistics challenges.
Eliminate IBC Waste, One Tank at a Time
Our mission is to make the reuse and recycling of intermediate bulk containers the industry default — not the exception. We believe that every IBC tank manufactured should be used to its fullest potential, reconditioned when possible, and recycled with zero waste when it reaches end-of-life.
We achieve this by offering businesses a reliable, affordable, and transparent alternative to buying new. When companies choose EcoIBC, they reduce their environmental footprint, lower their costs, and participate in a circular economy that benefits everyone.
A World Where No IBC Tank Reaches a Landfill
We envision a future where the concept of a “disposable” IBC tank is obsolete. Where every tank is tracked through its lifecycle, reconditioned multiple times, and ultimately recycled into new products when it can no longer serve its original purpose.
We are working toward a nationwide infrastructure for IBC tank collection and reconditioning — a network of facilities that makes it as easy to recycle a tank as it is to buy a new one. Our goal is to be the catalyst for this transformation, proving that sustainability and profitability go hand in hand.
